Add an incentive

  • Types of incentives most frequently used in online stores are shown as above. When you click [Apply], the settings for the incentive will be automatically applied.

General

Type
  • Limited-time discount: Discount is offered for orders placed during the specified period.
  • Discount on new products: Discount is offered for customers who purchase products set as new products.
  • Shipping fee discount: Discount on shipping fee is offered for orders that include products to which the incentive is applied.
Discount rule
  • When limited-time discount or new product discount is selected, you can set a detailed discount rule.
Status
  • If you select [Active], the incentive will become valid immediately after it is added.
  • Incentive will be marked as [Inactive] even when [Active] is selected for [Status] in [Add incentive] page if the start date for the incentive has not been reached.
  • If you select [Inactive], the incentive will become valid after based on other settings.

Settings

When [Limited-time discount] is selected Date range
  • Select a date range for how long the incentive will be valid.
Applicable products
  • Select products to which the incentive will be applied.
  • All: Incentive will be applied to all products added to your store.
  • Specific products: Incentive will be applied to the selected products only.
  • All except for the selected products: Incentive will be applied to all products except for the selected products.
  • Clicking [Add product] button will open a pop-up where you can select products to which the incentive will be applied or excluded.
  • Incentives already applied to the product will be displayed in [Applied incentives] column.
Add product
  • Clicking [Add product] button will open a pop-up where you can select a product to which the incentive will be applied.
When [Discount on new products] is selected New product
  • Enter a number to set how long a product will be considered a new product.
Applicable products
  • Select products to which the incentive will be applied.
  • All: Incentive will be applied to all products added to your store.
  • All except for the selected products: Incentive will be applied to all products except for the selected products.
  • Clicking [Add product] button will open a pop-up where you can select a product to which the incentive will not be applied.
  • Incentives already applied to the product will be displayed in [Applied incentives] column.
Add product
  • Clicking [Add product] button will open a pop-up where you can select a product to which the incentive will be applied.
When [Shipping fee discount] is selected Date range
  • Select a date range for how long discount will be applied to shipping fee. If you select [No], discount on shipping fee will be offered until the incentive is manually deleted.
Set requirement
  • Enter the minimum purchase amount a customer has to make for the incentive to become applicable. Minimum purchase amount will be based on subtotal before discount and shipping fee.
  • Note that if you select [No], discount on shipping fee will be offered for all orders regardless of purchase amount.
Applicable products
  • Select products to which the incentive will be applied.

  1. 1) Specific products
  • When products other than the products you selected are included in a customer's order, default shipping fee will be charged or per-product shipping fee set for each product will be charged.
    1. When both products for shipping fee discount and products without free shipping are included in a customers' order, discount on shipping fee will be offered for the order.
  • When both products to which the incentive is applied and products to which the incentive is not applied are included in a customer's order, discount on shipping fee will be offered for the order.
  1. 2) All except for the selected products
  • When only the products you selected for [All except selected products] are included in a customer's order, default shipping fee will be charged or per-product shipping fee set for each product will be charged.
  • When both products for shipping fee discount and products without shipping fee discount are included in a customers' order, shipping fee discount will not be offered for the order.
  • Clicking [Add product] button will open a pop-up where you can select a product to which the incentive will not be applied.
  • Incentives already applied to the product will be displayed in [Applied incentives] column.
