Analytics

  • This dashboard regroups reports and metrics based on Plus App usage data.
  • Note that some values may defer from other analytics features. Refer to each guidelines for details on the data.
  • Some data has only been collected since April 10, 2020. Refer to help tools for more details.

General report

Common fields Last update
  • This is the date and time of the most recent update. Data is collected every hour.
OS
  • Results are searched for the selected OS.
Date range
  • Results are searched for the selected date range. The maximum date range is 1 year.
General report Installs
  • This is the number of time your app was installed during the selected date range. This data is collected when a user installs the app and runs it for the first time.
Visits/Visits (%)
  • This is the number of times your app was visited during the selected date range. Even if the app is opened multiple times during the same session, it is counted as one visit.
  • Sessions end two hours after the last action.
  • The visit rate (Visits (%)) compares the number of app visits with the total visits registered on your online store. Visit rate = (App visits ÷ Total visits) × 100
Page views/Page views (%)
  • This is the number of page views that happened in your app during the selected date range.
  • The page view rate (Page views (%)) compares the number of page views that happened in your app with the total page views registered on your online store. Page view rate = (App page views ÷ Total page views) × 100
Sign-ups/Sign-ups (%)
  • This is the number of accounts newly created through your app during the selected date range.
  • The sign-up rate (Sign-ups (%)) compares the number of new accounts created through your app with the number of new accounts registered on your online store. Sign-up rate = (App sign-ups ÷ Total sign-ups) × 100
Notification opt-ins
  • This is the number of users that turned your app’s notification settings on during the selected date range.

Visits report

Common fields Last update
  • This is the date and time of the most recent update. Data is collected every hour.
OS
  • Results are searched for the selected OS.
Date range
  • Results are searched for the selected date range. The maximum date range is 1 year.
Visits report DAU/WAU/MAU
  • These acronyms refer to Daily Active User (DAU), Weekly Active User (WAU), and Monthly Active User (MAU).
  • This is the number of users that visited your app over the past 24 hours (DAU), 7 days (WAU), and 30 days (MAU). It is calculated by subtracting the amount of returning visits from the total number of visits.
  • This data has been collected since April 10, 2020.
First-time visits/Returning visits
  • visit is considered to be a first-time visit if the relevant user hadn’t opened the app in the past 6 months. If the relevant user has opened the app during the past 6 months, it is considered as a returning visit.
  • (Even if the user had visited your online store or your store’s mobile page, his/her first time opening the app is considered as a first-time visit.)
  • This data has been collected since April 10, 2020.
Visit duration
  • This is the average amount of time users spend on your app per visit. This is calculated by dividing the number of visits by the overall time spent on your app.
  • This data has been collected since April 10, 2020.

Sales report

Common fields Last update
  • This is the date and time of the most recent update. Data is collected every hour.
OS
  • Results are searched for the selected OS.
Date range
  • Results are searched for the selected date range. The maximum date range is 1 year.
Sales report
  • Cancellations and refunds that happen after payments are not reflected in this data.
  • This is the number of payments that happened through your app during the selected date range.
Customers
  • This is the number of customers who made a purchase through your app during the selected date range. (If one customer places two orders -> Two payments / One customer)
Sales/Sales (%)
  • This is the sales amount generated through your app during the selected date range.
Payments
  • These numbers only reflect payments that have been completed, not those that are pending.
  • The sales rate (Sales (%)) compares the sales amount generated through your app with the total sales amount registered on your online store. Sales rate = (App sales amount ÷ Total sales amount) × 100
Converted customers
  • This represents the ratio of payments to app visits. Conversion rate = (Number of payments ÷ App visits) × 100

Push report

Common fields Last update
  • This is the date and time of the most recent update. Data is collected every hour.
Sent on
  • Results are searched for the selected date range. The maximum date range is 1 year.
Push conversion Actions
  • This is the number of actions taken for each step between accessing the app through a push notification and placing an order.
  1. 1) Opened app: Opened your app through a push message.
  1. 2) Viewed 2 pages: Accessed your app (one page) and moved onto another page.
  1. 3) Placed order: Placed an order on your app. (This includes orders that are still awaiting payment, but not those that have been canceled or refunded.)
  • Data has been collected since April 10, 2020 for “Viewed 2 pages” and “Placed order”.
Abandonments
  • This is calculated by subtracting the number of actions during the current step from the number of actions for the previous step.
Notification recipients (Most recent update)
  • These results are based on the most recently collected data, regardless of the date range.
Current app users
  • This is the total number of Plus App UUIDs during the most recent update.
  • UUIDs are generated when the app is first installed and are deleted if a push message detects that the app is uninstalled
Opt-ins/Opt-outs
  • These are the numbers of users who have turned on or off the push notifications for your app.
  • You can only send push messages to those who have their notification settings turned on.
Statistics by notification Sent
  • This is the number of push messages that were sent.
App opens/App opens (%)
  • “App opens” is the number of users who have opened your app by clicking on a push message.
  • The app open rate (App opens (%)) is the number of app opens to the number of sent messages. App open rate = (Number of app opens ÷ Sent push notification) × 100
Converted customers
  • This is the number of placed orders that happened after accessing the app through a push message.
  • Cancellations and refunds that happen after payments are not reflected in this data.
Sales amount
  • This is the sales amount that was generated by orders placed after accessing the app through a push message.
  • Cancellations and refunds that happen after payments are not reflected in this data.
Sales per app open
  • This is the average sales amount per app open. This is calculated by dividing the sales amount by the number of app opens.
Lead time until action Total app opens
  • This is the total number of app opens per lead time until a user opened the app after receiving a push notification.
  • Lead time is expressed in seconds. E.g., The total number of app opens over an hour is the number of app opens that happened during the 3,600 seconds following the push notification delivery.
  • This data has been collected since April 10, 2020.
Total purchases
  • This is the total number of app opens per lead time until a user opened the app after receiving a push notification. Cancellations and refunds that happen after payments are not reflected in this data.
  • Lead time is expressed in seconds. E.g., The total number of purchases over an hour is the number of purchases that happened during the 3,600 seconds following the push notification delivery.

Marketing report Clicked app installation nudges
  • This is the number of times the app installation nudge was clicked during the selected date range.
Clicked in-app order nudges
  • This is the number of times the in-app order nudge was clicked during the selected date range.
Clicked app usage nudges
  • This is the number of times the app usage nudge was clicked during the selected date range.
Statistics by channel (App usage nudge) Page name, File path
  • This is the information you entered while setting up the app usage nudge.
Clicked app usage nudges
  • This is the number of times the app usage nudge was clicked for the selected channel.
Statistics by coupon Number of issues
  • This is the number of coupons issued during the selected date range.
Used coupons/Coupon usage (%)
  • “Used coupons” is the number of coupons used by customers during the selected date range.
  • The coupon usage rate (Coupon usage (%)) is the number of coupons used to the number of issued coupons. Coupon usage rate = (Used coupons ÷ Issued coupons) × 100
Coupon-based sales/Coupon-based purchases (%)
  • This is the sales amount generated by the orders that were placed using each coupon. If multiple coupons are used in one same order, the sales data will be collected for each coupon.
  • The coupon-based purchase rate (Coupon-based purchases (%)) is the amount of coupon-based sales to your store’s overall sales amount. Coupon-based purchase rate = (Coupon-based sales ÷ Overall sales) × 100
