Referrer points settings

Referrer points settings
  • You can set to issue points to referrers and referees.
  • When you have disabled referrer points or have not selected [Referrer ID] in [Customers>Manage customers>Signup/Delete accounts>Account signup fields], the referral URL will not redirect the user to the signup page.
Definitions
  • A referrer refers to a customer who has already signed up and recommends your store to other potential customers.
  • Referee: A customer account who newly signed up and made a purchase after being recommended by a referrer
Show referral URL
  • You can set to display a referral URL including the referrer ID, a button to copy the URL, and the description about referrer points in My Page of the PC and the mobile store.
  • Whether the referral URL is displayed or not, the customers can use the link to promote the store.
  • Referral URL format: http://online store domain/?reco_id=Referrer ID
Points for referees
  • Points for referees are issued on top of [Issue points for signing up] set up in [My Store>Store setup>Points].
Referrer requirements
  • When [the referee signs up] is selected, customers may abuse the benefit by signing up for multiple accounts. It is recommended that you enable the user authentication with this option to prevent customers from creating multiple accounts.
Maximum number of referees
  • The number of referees isn't counted based on the number of newly created IDs, but on the number of times that the referrer has received related points.
  • Even if a referee ends up deleting their account, they will still be counted in the total number of accounts created through the referrer.
    1. e.g. If you set the maximum number of referees to "3" and 3 people create an account through a referrer, this referrer will no longer be able to refer people even if one of those 3 referees deletes their account.
