Referral points

  • When you have set to issue points after the referee makes the first purchase, you can search the referrer to issue or recapture points.

Search orders placed by referees
  • You can search referees’ orders that have been delivered and manually issue points to the relevant referrers.
  • This option is only available if you have selected to reward points to the referrer when the referee makes the first purchase in [Reward programs>Settings].
  • If the order is canceled or the shipment status changes to [In transit] because the order is being exchanged, the referrer points issuance status will change from [Not rewarded] to [Not eligible].
  • When an order is canceled after points have been rewarded, you can find the order to recapture the points.
  • To minimize the hassle of recapturing points for orders that have been returned, it is recommended that you issue points 7 to 14 days after delivery once the return period expires.
Definitions
  • A referrer refers to a customer who has already signed up and recommends your store to other potential customers.
  • Referee: A customer account who newly signed up and made a purchase after being recommended by a referrer
  • Points rewarded to referrer: It shows the referrer point issuance status. The statuses are Not rewarded, Rewarded, Recaptured, and Not eligible.

Amount paid
  • When you are manually issuing points, you can issue a percentage of the amount paid.
Exchange/Cancel
  • ○: Fully canceled/exchanged, △: Partially canceled/exchanged, Ⅹ: Not canceled/exchanged
Manual reward (referrer)
  • You can issue points to or recapture points from the referrer of the selected order.
  • When you recapture points, you can only recapture the specified amount.
  • You can see the history of issued and recaptured referrer points in [Customers>Manage customers>Points].
  • When the points to reward is calculated in proportion to the amount paid, round down to the nearest ten.

Select an action
  • You can select to issue or deduct points.
Rewarded points
  • When issuing points, you can reward the specified amount of points or in proportion to the amount paid. When deducting points, you can only deduct the specified amount.
  • It would be meaningless to calculate points to deduct in proportion to the amount paid for canceled orders, because the amount paid for an order that has been entirely canceled becomes KRW 0, and you cannot deduct points in proportion to the amount paid that is 0.
  • To save the settings for calculating the points and apply when manually issuing points in the future, check off the box next to [Save].
Save
  • Click the [Save] button to complete issuing/recapturing points.
  • Once you issue points, the status will instantly become [Rewarded]. When you recapture points, the status instantly becomes [Recaptured].
