Social login

Web Manual

  • If you enable social media, fields will appear for you to enter Client/App ID and Secret/Key.
  • Register the client (app) ID and the REST API key (secret code) issued by each social media to enable social login.
  • Once social login settings have been established, you can manage the account signup fields for each social media in [Customers>Manage customers>Signup/Delete accounts>Account signup fields].
Social login settings
  • Customers who joined using a social media account can also enjoy the services provided by the online store (place an order, receive coupons, discounts, and points) like other general customer accounts.
  • For age-restricted stores, social media login cannot be used since it does not call the date of birth data.
  • When a customer signs up with a social media account and deletes the account, the customer cannot join again using the same social media account.
  • When you change the client (App) ID your were issued with, you cannot sync the existing customer information and order information. Note that once the ID has been changed, it will be recognized as a complete new store.
Save
  • After changing the social login settings, click [Save] to complete the sync.
Kakao Sync
  • You can send advertisements from Kakao platforms including Kakao Moment and Kakao Talk Channel to customers who sign up via Kakao Sync.

  • You must select [ON] for [Kakao Quick Signup] in Kakao Developers to enable the Kakao Sync.
App ID
  • Enter your App ID from Kakao Developers.
Allow customers to log in only using a Kakao ID when they access the store via Kakao in-app browser.
  • This feature restricts customers from signing up or logging in with IDs other than a Kakao ID, when they access the store via Kakao in-app browser.
  • Note that if you enable this feature, customers with existing store ID will still have to log in with a Kakao ID.
  • This only applies to the Kakao in-app browser and customers can use either of a store ID or a Kakao ID in PC or mobile web browser.
Naver login How to use
  • Click the [Apply for Naver Login Plus] button to install the app and proceed with setup.
  • If you do not want to use Naver TalkTalk or if you already have an app and want to use it as it is, you can set it up by entering the app's Client ID/Client Secret.

Naver Login Plus
  • Naver Login Plus is a service that allows Naver members to sign up to online store smore quickly by agreeing to the store's Terms of Use in Naver's Provision of Information Agreement window.
  • By connecting to Naver's marketing message service, Naver TalkTalk, you can send various marketing messages such as coupons and news to your store customers.
  • When you apply to Naver Login Plus, your Cafe24 online store information will be passed to Naver. You can therefore create an app easily using your online store information.

Notes
  • When applying for Naver Login Plus after have used Naver Login, you should check the app name and Client ID that you were using before applying to the app so that customers logging in via Naver can continue to log in to your store.
  • Store customers who sign up through this service can skip the Cafe24 social media SSO window and sign up immediately if their information is already in their Naver account.
