Home page category layout

  • Manage the product layout for the home page on the storefront.
  • View products currently on display, add products for display and change the layout order.
  • The products are displayed on the home page of the online store according to the user specified layout order.

Layout by home category

Home categories
  • Select under which home category to display the products.
  • Additional categories are displayed on the home page only if the categories have been added in [Manage home categories].
Manage home categories
  • You can add or delete home categories other than [Recommended products] and [New products].
  • In [Headline theme], select whether to display the home category name on the storefront in image or in text.
  • When you select [Send to top] or [Send to bottom] for [Out-of-stock product display], products will be sent to top or bottom after they become out of stock.
  • A module code is created automatically and cannot be edited.
  • A deleted module code cannot be restored. e.g. If you delete “product_listmain_5” and then create a new home category, the code for the new category will be “product_listmain_6”.

  • Clicking this button will create a new category.
  • Click the newly created category to edit the category name, display settings, and the headline theme.
Module code
  • A module code is automatically generated and cannot be edited. A deleted module code cannot be restored.
  1. e.g. If you delete “product_listmain_5” and then create a new home category, the code for the new category will be “product_listmain_6”.
Headline theme
  • Select whether to display the home category name in image or in text.
Image
  • Add your own image.
Use text
  • The category name will be displayed in text.
Out-of-stock product display
  • Select how you want to display out-of-stock products.
  • On the storefront, the products that are set as [Not for sale] will be displayed as out-of-stock products.

Product layout Add or delete products on display
  • Clicking [Add product] button will open a pop-up where you can add products to a home page category.
  • When you select a product to add and click [Select], the added product will appear at the top of the list.
  • If you select a product and click [Not on display] button, the selected product will not be displayed on your store's home page.
Change layout order
  • Products will be displayed by the layout order specified in the list.
  • You can rearrange the layout order by selecting the product and clicking the arrow buttons or by entering a number and clicking [Move].
  • If you rearrange the layout order of a product by entering a number, the product will be relocated to the corresponding position and the other products located after will each be moved down one line.
  • If you enter a number greater than the number of all products, the product will be sent to the bottom.
  • When you change the layout order of a product, new layout order will be displayed for the product whose layout order has been rearranged.
  • You can pin the product to a specific order by clicking on the pin icon that appears when you hover your mouse over the layout order.
  • You can pin or unpin the product to a specific layout order by clicking on the pin icon that appears when you hover your mouse over the product.
  • Layout order of a pinned product will not be changed even when other products are added or deleted.
Actual layout order
  • The actual layout will be determined depending on the priority settings for each product as well as the product's layout settings, inventory status and pin settings.
  • If the product is set to [Not on display], [Not for sale] and is out of stock, the layout order of the product may not be applied accordingly depending on the home category layout order settings.
  • The layout order of the product will be applied accordingly when the status of the product is changed to [On display], [For sale] and is back in stock with more than one product in inventory.
1. Not on display
  • If you select a product and click [Not on display] button, the selected product will not be displayed on your store's home page.
  1. The display status of the product will only be applied to the home category.
2. Export as CSV
  • You can export data on the products displayed in the list as a CSV file.
3. Add product
  • Clicking the [Add product] button will open a pop-up where you can select products to display on your store's home page.
  • All products added to your store will be displayed. You can select the products to display on the home page and click [Select].
4. Pin product to a specific order
  • For products with layout settings set as [Custom], pin icon will appear when you hover your mouse over the layout order number.
  • You can pin or unpin the product to a specific layout order by clicking on the pin icon.
  • For products pinned to a specifc layout order, the layout order cannot be changed.
5. Change layout order (Using buttons)
  • You can change the layout order of a product by selecting the product in the list and clicking on the arrow buttons located at the bottom of the list.
  • Products will be displayed on the storefront in accordance with the layout order set on this page.
6. Change layout order (Entering a specific number)
  • You can change the layout order of a product by selecting the product in the list and entering a number. When you click [Proceed], the layout order of the product will be rearranged.
  • If you enter a number greater than the number of products in the list, the product you selected will be moved down to the bottom of the list.
Import CSV
  • Click [Export as CSV] to download the current product layout list as a CSV file.
  • Edit only the data in [Layout order] column in the CSV file you downloaded.
  • You can only enter numbers in the layout order field. The file will not be uploaded properly if you enter characters other than a space or numbers.
  • The file will not be uploaded if the layout order column has repeating numbers.
  • Changes made to the CSV file such as deleting or adding products will not be reflected in the system.
  • Changes made to the CSV file such as editing product codes or product names will reflected in the system.
  • Type in Y in [Pin product] column to pin the product, or N to unpin the product from the layout order.
  • When you make changes to the layout order in the downloaded CSV file and upload the file again, the updated layout order will be saved.
  • Open the downloaded file in Excel and edit the order. Save as a XLSX or XLS file and upload the file.
