  • Home page category layout+ is a feature that enables the users to look at the product layout as shown on the storefront, compare various data on each product, and conveniently change the layout order by dragging and dropping the products.

  • Home page category layout+ is a feature that enables the users to look at the product layout as shown on the storefront, compare various data on each product, and conveniently change the layout order by dragging and dropping the products.
Select the number of columns for the layout.
  • Make sure to match the number of columns as shown on the storefront.
  • Changing the number of columns in [Home page category layout+] will not change the number of columns on the storefront. (Use as reference only.)
Change the layout order by looking at the product information.
  • Select the product information to compare such as total sales, views, view counts, conversion rate (%), and expected order amount and adjust the layout order.
A quick drag to add products to the layout
  • Search additional products and drag and drop to add to the layout.
Easily change the product layout order.
  • You can drag and drop products into the grid to change the layout order.
Conveniently hide products from the display.
  • Click [Do not display] to remove the product from the layout. This will not delete the product. Hiding the product will not delete the product.
Preview the changes before saving.
  • Before saving, check how the products will be actually displayed on the storefront after the settings have been applied (out-of-stock product display, display of products with MSRP of 0, number of products to display on the storefront).
Requirements to use this service
  • With Home Page Category Layout+, the maximum number of products you can display on your home page is 200 per category. If you have more than 200 products added to a home page category in [Manage home page layout], only the first 200 products in the category will be marked as [Displayed], and the rest of the products will be marked as [Not on display].
  • You can check the $count value in [Themes (PC)>Smart Themes editor] for the number of products currently displayed on your store

Features

1. Selecting a category to edit
  • You can select the home category to edit and check the icon to find out whether the category is in use by the PC store and the mobile store.
  • You can add, delete, or edit home categories in [Manage home categories]. When you save the changes made in [Manage home categories] while editing the layout, the layout will be reset.
2. Searching products to display
  • From [Search products to display] on the left, search for products to add.
  • When you leave the search box empty and click [Search products], all registered products will be shown.
  • By checking off each product information, you can refer to the data while changing the layout order.
  • Click the settings icon on the top right corner to select which product information to display.
3. Product layout settings
  • Drag the product and drop in a new cell in the grid. You can see where the product will be displayed when dragging.
  • You cannot move a product to where another product has been pinned.
  • In the layout grid, you can only drag and drop one product at a time.
  • When you select the sorting criteria, the products in the grid will be sorted according to the selected condition. Changing the sorting order to [Layout order] will reset the layout without saving.
4. Remove products from home page
  • You can remove the products currently on display by clicking the trash can icon that appears when you mouseover on the product or by clicking [Remove product] button.
  • Once a product is removed from the home page, the cell from which the product is removed will be marked as [Empty]. An empty cell cannot be moved.
  • To add a product to an empty cell, click the cell and drag a product into the cell. You cannot add multiple products at once.
  • Click [Remove empty cells] to remove all the empty cells in the grid.
5. Search products on display
  • Search products in the grid by the product name or the product code.
  • You can press Enter or click the arrows to search among the products on display.
6. Update product information settings/Preview
  • By clicking the settings icon, you can change the settings for additional product information and the details of products on display.
  • [Preview] will display how the products are actually shown on the storefront by applying the settings for number of columns and number of products to display and other settings that affect the layout.
  • Clicking [Save product layout] will save the current home category layout settings. You can check the changes in [Home page category layout].
