Connected store

• You can connect a domain to your store.

• You cannot change the domain that is set as your primary domain. This feature is activated once you unmark this domain as primary domain.

• If you want to change a domain purchased from a third-party website, you will need to disconnect it from your Cafe24 store, then reconnect it with the [Connect existing domain] feature.

SSL certificate SSL certificate range

• Cafe24 offers an SSL certificate for important pages that deal with personal information, such as the login page, account creation page, and checkout page.

• SSL certificates cannot be issued for Cafe24's default domain. You can only request an SSL certificate for the domains you have added and connected yourself.

• e.g., skin.STORE_ID.cafe24.com, m.STORE_ID.cafe24.com, etc.

• Make sure you also request another SSL certificate for any new domains you add.

• If you are using the SSL certificate feature, you will need to edit external scripts and links that redirect to HTTP by inserting it in your theme file yourself.

SSL request status

• Installation complete: Your SSL certificate has successfully been installed.

• Issuance error: An error has occurred while installing the certificate. Complete the installation by clicking the [Request certificate] button.

• Awaiting issuance: Certificate issuance is in progress.

• Not installed: SSL certificate has not been installed.

Take note!

• Some domains may be rejected due to certificate policies. If your domain has been rejected, it will be marked as "Issuance error".

• e.g., Domains that contain "bank", certain certificate issuance agencies (comodo, verisign, etc.), famous companies or similar domains, or cloud provider domains (aws, google, etc.) could be market as "Issuance error".

• If your domain's name server isn't Cafe24, you will not be able to receive a certificate.

• Make a new request 2 days later if you change it to the Cafe24 name server.

• If you are using an external script because you changed your theme, check whether this externa script's URL supports HTTPS.

• Check with the script provider whether their feature is supported.

1. ※ Go to [My Store>Multi-language store] by clicking [HTTPS settings], and activate the https setting.

Subdomains

• Enter a domain name and connect a subdomain to a main domain.

• Click [Add] at the bottom, enter the address of the subdomain and select the store to which you want to connect it.

• Click [OK] to add the subdomain. Subdomains are marked as "Secondary" in the domain list.

• Click [Delete] to remove the domain from the list of domains connected to your store.

Purchase details

1. ※ Once the domain has expired, your website will no longer be accessible. Make sure you renew your domain as soon as you are notified of its expiration.

• Expiration/Auto-renewal: A [Renew] button will be activated 7 days prior to expiration. Simply click the button to be redirected to the payment page and renew your subscription.

• We do not notify you when domains purchased elsewhere are approaching their expiration date.

• Note that the default domain (id.cafe24.com) does not expire, and you will not be notified by Cafe24 when domains purchased elsewhere are approaching their expiration date.
