Buy new domain
Search the domain you want to buy
1. Go to [My Store>General>Domain>New Domain] and click [Buy]. In the search window, enter the name of the domain you want to buy.
2. Check the available domain extensions and prices.
Available: Domains you can purchase, Unavailable: Domains you cannot purchase
Domains can be purchased on a yearly basis. You can check details related to renewals in [Domain>Manage domains].
2. Select the domain you want to buy and click [Buy] at the bottom of the page.
Enter your payment information
1. Make sure you enter the correct owner/manager information before subscribing. You can check [Same as owner details] to automatically fill out the manager-related fields with the information you entered in the owner section.
Owner name: You must enter the information on your identification card (ex. insurance card, driver's license, etc.) to prove ownership. Once your domain is registered, this information can only be changed through the Customer Support.
Business registration card: Once your domain is registered, you cannot change the owner name or business registration number. Make sure you enter the correct information as you will only be able to change this by transferring the ownership.
2. You will need to verify your email to confirm your information.
If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder or verify your email address again through the admin page.
When you edit owner information, a verification email and an email explaining how to change the information will be sent to the owner's email address.
Once the ownership has been transferred, an email will be sent to the owner's email address to confirm that the transfer is complete.
3. Check the Cafe24 Domains Terms of Use and ICANN Domain Registrant Rights and Responsibilities.
4. Click [Pay].
Domain registration happens on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend that you pay by credit card since this method offers the fastest payment confirmation.
If you pay by bank deposit or virtual account, you will be able to start using your domain only once your payment has been confirmed.
※ The first domain you purchase through Cafe24 will automatically be set as your store's primary domain.
