Web Manual

  • With Shipping Manager, you can configure specific shipping fees as shipping profiles and charge customers according to their purchase conditions.
  • You are provided with one default shipping profile and you can add customs ones if necessary.
  • Click [Activate] to turn on this feature. Once activated, your previous shipping fee settings and other shipping-related settings will no longer be available.

You are required to configure the following settings before using Shipping Manager:

You must configure the shipping origin settings below and match products to shipping origins to start applying the shipping fees from Shipping Manager.
1. Register shipping origins in [Shipping origins]
  1. 1) Shipping Manager processes order shipments based on shipping origins. This is why you must at least set one up.
  1. 2) If you don't actually have a shipping origin (warehouse), we recommend that you enter your online store address in [Custom shipping origin] or [Default shipping origin].

2. Match products with shipping origins
  1. 1) In this step, you will assign a shipping origin to each product and item.
  1. 2) Select a shipping origin in [Product details>Options/Inventory].
  1. 3) If a product has different options, you must select a shipping origin for each variant.

  1. 4) For products without variants, you can simply choose a shipping origin in the [Shipping origin] field.

Detailed guide on Shipping Manager features

1. Shipping profile
  1. 1) Shipping profiles are categorized into "General shipping rates" and "Custom shipping rates".
  1. 2) A shipping profile is composed of products, shipping origins, destinations and a shipping fee. Shipping fees can only be charged once you have filled in all these fields.

General shipping rate
  • This shipping profile is offered by default in Shipping Manager. Any product that isn't assigned to a custom shipping rate will automatically be assigned to this profile.
  • If your store can be operated with simple delivery settings, you should be able to manage your shipping fee using the "General shipping rates" profile.
  • If your store needs to be operated differently depending on the product or delivery method, we recommend you use "Custom shipping rates" profiles.

Custom shipping rate
  • Custom shipping rate profiles are offered so you can separately manage shipping fees per product type or shipping method when necessary.

2. Products
  1. 1) Every new product added to your store is automatically assigned to the general shipping rate.
  1. 2) You can assign products that need to be managed separately to a custom shipping rate.
  1. 3) Click the [Options] button in the product list to check the product's variants. You can assign each variant to a different shipping profile.
  1. 4) Products and items can only be assigned to one shipping profile.
  1. e.g., If you add a product to the "Frozen goods delivery" profile, it will be deleted from the "Refrigerated goods delivery" profile.
  1. 5) You can find details on a product's shipping profile in the product list.

3. Shipping from
  1. 1) Choose from the shipping origins that you have added to your store in [Shipping origins] and create a shipping origin group.
  1. 2) Each shipping origin can only be assigned to one shipping origin group. All the shipping origins in a shipping origin group are configured with the same destinations and shipping fee.
  1. 3) You can create multiple shipping origin groups and set them up with different destinations and shipping fees.
  1. 4) Shipping origins that aren't added to the shipping origin group will automatically be added to [Not shipping from].
  1. 5) If you add a shipping origin to your store after a shipping profile is created, it will automatically be set to [Not shipping from] for this shipping profile.

4. Shipping to
  1. 1) You can choose countries or regions for this field.
  1. 2) Customers can place orders if the recipient address corresponds to a destination added to a shipping profile.
  1. 3) A country or region can only be registered to one shipping origin per shipping origin group.
  1. 4) Countries and regions that are not added as a shipping destination are added to [Not covered by your shipping zones].

5. Add rate
  1. 1) You can add a name for your shipping fee. These names are shown to customers during the checkout stage when they need to choose a shipping fee option.
  1. 2) You can choose to name your shipping fees as delivery methods. (e.g., Post Office, Same-day delivery, Early-morning delivery, Quick delivery, etc.)
  1. 3) You can set shipping fee calculation conditions based on item weight, based on the order price, and based on product quantity.
  1. 4) If multiple shipping origin groups are configured but the shipping fee names are different, the shipping fee name will simply be displayed as “Shipping Fee” on the checkout page.
