Settings

  • Create, operate, and manage multiple stores in different languages (Korean, Chinese, Japanese, English, and etc.) using just one account (ID).
  • See below for more details on how to build your own multi-language store.

Stores

Store name
  • The default store cannot be deleted. You cannot set the additional stores as the default store.
Default language, Payment currency, and Reference currency
  • You can view information on [Default language], [Payment currency], and [Reference currency] for each store.
  • You cannot change the default language or payment currency on the default store.
  • You also cannot change the default language on the additional stores. Payment currency, however, can be changed until the first order is placed.
Auto translation
  • If the language of the additional store is different from that of your default store, this column will show whether you have enable the auto translation feature.
  • If the feature is enable, your product descriptions will be automatically translated into the language of the additional store.
Primary domain
  • The default domain for accessing each store is displayed here. If you click on a specified domain, you will be directed to the store.
  • When you create the additional stores, the default domain is automatically created.
HTTPS settings
  • This section is for the HTTPS redirection settings. It does not include settings related to your store's default domain (id.cafe24.com).
  • This feature may show up as "Activated", "Deactivated", "Activation error" or "Setup in progress" depending on the status of the SSL certificate for the domain that is connected to your store.
  • If the domain included in the store that shows an activation error is a subdomain, you will be redirected to the settings page for the parent domain.
Status/Active
  • [Status] indicates whether the store is currently accessible for normal use. When a store is being created, the status will be shown as [Creating].
  • [Active] indicates whether the store is activated or not. Online stores can only be accessed when they are activated. When a store is being created, the store status will be shown as [No].
Add store
  • You can add other online stores in addition to the default store. Click on [Add store] to bring up the [Add store] pop-up window. Enter the basic information and click on [Save] to create the store.
  • You can view information and statuses of the new store under [Stores].

Default language
  • You cannot change a store’s default language after creating it.
Store name
  • Enter a name for the store to be used by admins.
Payment currency
  • The selected payment currency is applied to the whole store for both order and payment purposes.
  • You cannot change a store’s payment currency if an order or sale has been made on that store.
Reference currency
  • Customers can use the reference currency to compare prices in the payment currency. The reference currency is not reflected to the sales and orders made on the store.
Auto translation
  • If the language of an additional store is different from that of your default store, you can use this feature to have your product descriptions automatically translated into the language of that additional store.
  • The auto translation feature only works for products that are added/edited to your default store.
  • When you enable this feature, all the translation items will be marked as translation targets.
  • Translation items: Product name, Product summary, Brief description, product details (created manually), product category name, option names/option values, material
  • You can adjust the auto-translation settings for each of your stores in [My Store>Store settings >General settings>Products (tab)] on the admin page's advanced mode.
Store icon
  • Use this icon to identify your localized stores. The icon you select will only be used on your admin page. It will not affect your storefront.
HTTPS settings
  • This section is for the HTTPS redirection settings. You can either choose to activate or deactive this feature depending on how you want to set up the security of the domains included on your store.
Active
  • When a store is inactive, the store’s url will not be displayed.
  • However, you can use the domain provided by Cafe24 to connect to the store’s website.

  1. • You can select a main theme for your PC store or mobile store in [Themes (PC)/Themes (Mobile)>Saved themes].
