Settings

  • Add or delete store admins and supplier admins, and set permissions for each admin.
  • Access to [Admin account settings] is permitted after registering your verification method at [My Store>Security>Verification methods].

Add store admin

  • You can add and modify an admin's general information when adding an admin to your online store.
Admin ID
  • You need to check the availability of the ID you entered.
  • Newly registered sub-admins use the same admin ID as their online store ID.
  • Store admins can login via the [Sub-admin] tab with their ID.
  • You cannot re-register a sub-admin ID that has been deleted once before.
Admin name
  • Enter an admin name for each multi-language store. You can use a different name for each store.
Password
  • You must enter a combination of at least two (10 to 16 characters) or three (8 to 16 characters) of the following: upper and lowercase letters/numbers/special characters.

Admin account permissions

Multi-language store
  • You can set which multi-language stores the sub-admin can use.
Access permissions for multi-language stores
  • You can set menu permissions and access levels for each multi-language store.
  • If you set [Access multi-language store] to [Do not allow], the admin will not be able to login to the specified multi-language store.
Permissions
  • Access is blocked for menus left unchecked.
  • You must grant permission to at least one menu.
  • [Advanced settings] button will appear only after you add other admin or sub-admin accounts.
  • Clicking the [Advanced settings] button will open [Edit permissions] pop-up where you can edit permissions for sub-menus.
Access levels
  • You can configure sub-settings for each feature after registering a sub-admin.
Edit product
  • If [Edit product] is left unchecked, the following fields cannot be edited by the sub-admin: Product name, MSRP, Cost, Price for default store, Taxation type, Calculate price, Price, Extra charge (item).
Restrict searches on order information
  • This option restricts the viewing of order information to the basic minimum to ensure the protection of information.
  • When searching for order information in [Products], only items matching the search criteria exactly will be displayed.
Restrict searches on personal information
  • Customers' personal information displayed in the [Orders] menu and [Customer profile] page in CRM pop-up will be masked.
  • Customers' personal information displayed in the [Customers] menu will be masked.
Mark products for returns/exchanges as [Picked up]
  • When checked, permission to mark products for returns/exchanges as [Picked up] will be granted.
  • If an admin has return/exchange permission but does not have permission to mark products as [Picked up], the admin will not be able modify it to the default [Quick return (Automatically marked as picked up)] option on the returns/exchanges page.
  • Location of Quick return settings:
    1. [Enable [Returns] in Orders] field in [My Store>Store setup>General settings>Orders (Tab)].
Accept refund
  • You can active this option by going to [My Store>Store setup>General settings>Orders (Tab)] and setting [Refund for cancellation/exchange/return requests] to [Separate acceptance of a cancellation/exchange/return request from the refund process].
View order amount
  • View order amount details on all pages in [Orders]. However, even without this permission, the admin can still view the amount except for information relating to refunds and the total amount for automated payment confirmations.
Restrict searches on customer information
  • Sub-admins will be restricted from searching customer information.
    1. [Customers>Find customers>Customer information]: Only the customers with a name or ID that perfectly manage the query will appear in the search results.
    1. Additional settings in [Customers>Manage customer>Manage by customer level]: Customer level change history cannot be viewed.
    1. [Customers>Manage customers>Login log]: Only the customers with exactly matching IDs or IP addresses will appear in the search results.
    1. [Analytics>Products>Shopping cart record]: You can only find customer names or customer IDs that are an exact match.
Allow specific IP address
  • Sub-admins can only login from registered IP addresses. Access is restricted for sub-admins using a different IP address.
  • Enter an IP range (1–256).
    1. e.g. If you want to allow for 123.123.123.1–255, enter 123.123.123
  • Applies to all multi-language stores.
Remove time limit for admin page access
  • You can find the [Limited accesses time for sub-admins] settings in [My Store>Store setup>General settings>Store/Security (Tab)].
  • This permission applies to all online stores.

Permissions for App Store

App Store permissions when adding an admin
Cafe24 App Store
  • Permissions required for access to App Store can be set in the default store. Default store settings will be applied to multi-language stores as well.
  • You can configure [Permissions for My apps] after registering the sub-admin.

Edit sub-admin account

  • You can modify general information here when updating sub-admin information. You can modify all information except for admin ID.

Sub-admin account permissions

  • You can configure admin permissions here when updating sub-admin information.
  • You can apply existing admin permissions, or select a specific online store and grant permissions per menu and/or access level.
  • Refer to [Admin permission settings] when editing sub-admin information.
Apply existing admin permission settings
  • You can copy existing admin permissions via the [Apply existing admin permission settings] window.
  • Please refer to “Admin permission settings” for other options.
Access levels
  • You can configure and set access permissions for each admin menu. Configure access permissions using the checkboxes.
  • [Advanced settings] button will appear only after you add other admin or sub-admin accounts.
  • Click on [Advanced settings] to view the detailed access levels window.
  • You can also set access permissions for sub-groups in this window.

Permissions for App Store

  • You can configure the admin's App Store permissions when updating sub-admin information.
  • Permissions required for access to App Store can be set in the default store. Default store settings will be applied to multi-language stores as well.
Access levels
  • My apps access levels are provided by the app developer. The default value is no permission.
  • Contact the app developer if you have any queries about an app’s access levels.
Write a review
  • You can write a review for all products without any restrictions when this option is checked.
Notes
  • Sub-admins with permission to write reviews will operate as follows.
    1. 1) Like customer reviews, reviews written by a sub-admin will be included in all statistics.
    1. 2) Review ranking i.e. will be included in rankings.
    1. 3) Reviews written by a sub-admin are not eligible for points.

Supplier admin account general settings

Admin ID
  • You need to check the availability of the ID you entered.
  • The first character must a be letter (using a combination of lowercase letters and numbers (4 to 6 characters)).
  • You need to check the availability of the ID you entered.
Admin name
  • Enter an admin name for each multi-language store. You can use a different name for each store.
Password
  • You must enter a combination of at least two (10 to 16 characters) or three (8 to 16 characters) of the following: upper and lowercase letters/numbers/special characters.
  • You do not need to enter a password when modifying admin information (i.e. maintains current password).
Email
  • Please be aware that emails sent out using settings in [Automated emails] will be received by the [Manager] email address registered in [Products>Filtered search>By suppliers] and not the email address entered here.

Supplier admin account permissions

Accessible stores
  • You can select and modify which stores supplier admins have access to.
Permission to assign product category
  • You can configure settings so that the supplier admin can only add products to assigned product categories.
  • Products cannot be added to unassigned product categories.
Permission to edit/change/sell/delete products
  • After a supplier adds a product, you can grant permission to edit, change the layout, sell, or delete the added product.
IP access restrictions
  • You can configure settings so that the supplier admin can only connect from a specific IP address.
Permission to view order amount
  • Grant view permissions to the supply operator concerning the product prices, product subtotal, and cart subtotal.
